John 15:1-11

• Jesus is the true vine.
• The Father is the one who sustains, cares, and tends the vine.
• Any branch "in Him" that does not bear fruit, He takes away.
• Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, so that it may produce more fruit.

Hebrews 12:6-11

• Apart from the vine it is impossible to bear fruit and the goal is to produce even more fruit.
• Our peace comes through the vine.
